About Mercor

Mercor is a company based in San Francisco that connects skilled people with paid work on artificial intelligence projects. It recruits experts and freelancers for tasks such as AI model training, evaluation and research for AI labs and businesses. Our data does not include a founding date or the year its domain was registered. The website publishes about, help, contact, careers, terms and privacy pages. Mercor has profiles on X, YouTube, LinkedIn, Instagram and Facebook. For people applying for gig or contract work through any recruitment platform, a few checks help. Confirm the pay rate, how hours are tracked and when and how payment is made, and whether you are being hired as an independent contractor responsible for your own taxes. Read the confidentiality and intellectual property terms, since AI training work often involves sharing your own knowledge or writing. Be careful with any interview steps that collect identity documents, and make sure messages come from the company's official domain, as fake recruiters sometimes copy well-known platforms to gather personal data.
