Adobe Stock Reviews

Adobe Stock is a stock media service operated by Adobe, the software company behind Photoshop and other Creative Cloud apps. It licenses photos, videos, illustrations, vector graphics, audio and design templates for use in commercial and personal projects, and it is built into several Adobe apps. This profile covers stock.adobe.com. For anyone licensing stock media, the licence matters more than the file. Check whether an asset comes under a standard or an extended licence, since uses such as merchandise, products for resale or very large print runs may need the extended option. Read the rules for images showing identifiable people, brands or private property, and whether the asset is marked for editorial use only. Subscriptions for stock services often run on annual plans billed monthly, with early cancellation fees, so read the plan terms before you sign up and note when unused downloads expire. Keep a record of the licence for each asset you use, in case a client or platform asks for proof. Contributors should read the royalty terms and content rules before uploading.
